Brahma Kumari Chandrikaben was born in 1947 in Petlad, a small town of Gujarat,India.
Since childhood, she had an inclination towards spiritual life, searched hard for true knowledge of self and God along with a bright educational career upto graduation in arts faculty. She actively participated in literary activities from school days.
In 1967, she came in contact with Brahmakumaris and she found her search for true self and God was fulfilled. She experienced innate powers through meditation and since then she is one of the expert and experienced teachers of Rajyoga. She dedicated her life for spiritual service of mankind, in true sense.
She has been an instrument of many inventions and researches in the institution. She took initiative to start a Spiritual Hostel for upliftment of girls. She was first to start 3 days Rajyoga Camps which is a very impressive media for a new student to start with. She initiated mass meditation sessions in public programmes, teachers training course etc.
She has travelled U.K.,USAand African countries with the Godly message.
She has participated in many national and international conferences, seminars etc. held at various places inIndia.
She is National Co-ordinator of Youth Wing of Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation (RE&RF) since its inception in the year 1985. She has been motivating thousands of youths through various campaigns and festivals nationwide.
In the year 2001 and 2004, with the support of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, 8 (eight) National Integration Camps were organised under the umbrella theme “Rebuilding Youth To Rebuild Nation” in 2001 and 5 (five) National Integration Camps were organised under umbrella theme "Swacch, Swasth and Swarnim Bharat" in 2004 to give geographical coverage to the entire length and breath of our vast country.
Moreover, she successfully manages more than 23 Rajyoga centres and sub-centres in Ahmedabad.
For her youth services, Governor of Gujarat, H. H. Bro. Sundersinghji Bhandari presented her "National Award for Excellence in youth through spiritual way" on Gujarat Day i.e.1st May, 2002.
